## "SI" is going mainstream

**US policy.** On 22 September 2026 the US President told the UN General Assembly that AI would "hereinafter" be called Super Intelligence. A week later an executive order directed every federal agency to use "Super Intelligence" and "SI"; the State Department told its diplomats to do the same. Anthropic, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Nvidia and xAI signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence.
